I remember being proud of myself for actually writing something, and having some sort of actual proof that I could show people in the future when I was older.Well, as I became a little older, and as my writing skills improved, my parents kept pushing me to become more serious with my writing. I needed something to show to my friends that I could write something of value. So, they took me to the library and bought me a couple of books on writing and a dictionary.So, I guess what I am trying to say is that writing is not some complicated and mysterious art, and it is not something that needs to be learned from scratch. You can just start with your passion for writing and do some small and simple projects to build up your confidence. It is that simple, and I hope you can see that it is not that hard to use the tools that are around you, such as dictionaries and short stories, to help you get started with writing.
